Matt Leighty, Founder/Owner
Matt is a public policy professional with more than a decade of experience in politics and policy. His unique background, with experience in campaigns, lobbying, government, and academia, provides him with an ability to analyze public policy options from a variety of vantage points. Since launching Commonwealth Consulting in 2013, he has had the opportunity to work with municipalities, school districts, universities, trade associations and non-profits to assist them with a variety of projects. With a particular expertise in large, technical writing projects, clients have benefited from years of writing and project management experience.
An internationally recognized leader in unmanned aerial systems, Harrison is fluent in anything technology related. From reports on unmanned vehicle systems and cyber security to RFP responses and business development, Harrison brings Palo Alto experience to the firm. His book, Drones: Safety Risk Management for the Next Evolution of Flight, is available on Amazon.
Remember Watts is a grant writer based in Portland, OR, working primarily with social justice, education, and conservation programs. She sits on the board of Housing Land Advocates and has been nominated to represent The Nature Conservancy Oregon on the board of EarthShare (beginning in June). She received her Master of Public Administration at University of Georgia, where she obtained funding for rural communities in Georgia and through AthFest Educates, Inc. for operational funding. Watts also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, where she graduated Cum Laude from the Calhoun Honors College.
